gkrellm-hdplop software package provides hard drive activity monitor GKrellM plugin, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gkrellm-hdplop
gkrellm-hdplop is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gkrellm-hdplop package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gkrellm-hdplop *
You will get with gkrellm-hdplop package name, version, architecture and description in a table
